Ace Centro Enterprises (ACE) offers the Atlantic Sand-O-Meter for non-intrusive, acoustic sand monitoring applications. ACE supplies portable sand measuring devices for dredging contractors to measure solids concentration in the dredged slurry, as well as, petrochemical contractors working on oil and gas pipelines. The Atlantic Sand-O-Meter is a non-invasive single-channel sand monitoring system that consists of a control unit and an acoustic sensor to trace sand particles to analyze the accurate ratio of sand mass in the pipeline. The high sensitivity of the sensor allows for solids production measurement and erosion detection in the pipeline to avoid damages and production losses caused by the presence of sand. The Sand-O-Meter works well in high-temperature conditions and is capable of detecting sand impact effectively in high flow rates. The adjustable mounting strap, robust clamp-on design and long extension lead make it suitable for different applications, while real-time data and trends can be obtained through user-friendly graphical display.

The Atlantic Sand-O-Meter is a portable acoustic sand monitoring system capable of accurate sand mass measurement and analysis. The control unit is contained in a durable carry case and the sensor is housed in a robust stainless steel enclosure. The sensor detects the high-frequency signals generated by the sand impact on the internal wall of the pipe and the control unit provides the sand impact rate in impacts per second to give a measurement of the sand mass in the pipeline.
